I really do not know if I am worried for A Level. For one thing, the date of result releasing has been dragged & dragged & dragged, so I have been paranoid for almost three weeks in total!!!

Collegue: You have cut your hair short now, you very stressed ah?

Me: No, I am not waitress...

Collegue: !!!

Dad: If you are very worried, I help you take results on Wednesday?

Me: Ok.

Dad: What if you have not done well?

Me: Then you don't come back liao.

Dad: ....

Oh, by the way, my hair cut now resembles Guo Mei Mei!!! So flattened~ I shall sing a song in appreciation:

看见成绩我不怕不怕啦,我脑袋比较大,我不怕不怕不怕啦。

我的人生,不只是成绩,我要为自己,闯出一片天地!!!

Damn, A Level result is out tomorrow and I am not least worried. THAT really worries me...

My Dress Talk
1)Do not try to match top & bottom of the same color together, ever! You may try to match contemporary colors or contrasting colors but not the SAME color. Unless you are to wear a dress, you should not try to match or buy a suit of the same color as it is of no taste! What I mean a dress is one piece, simple yet elegant.
2)Do not be dumb and try on clothes with design of horizontal lines. Unless you have a figure of Patricia Mok's and in that case you should not only wear clothes of horizontal stripes, you should further leather yourself in at least two layers of clothes. Just FYI, scrawny girls without figure are as bad as plump girls so eat more pleaseeee.
3)Do not wear long dress or long sleeve shirt. IMO, long dress is meant for either your wedding day or your prom night but not as a casual wear. Please invest in a middle length dress or a short skirt as long dress is just too 80s. Similiary, long sleeve might cover your flabby arms but the look is no class! So this faily wear is a no, no, NO!
4)Remember that you are wearing the clothes! Most of us know about our best feature and how to bring it out. If you have shapely legs, you will wear short skirt. However, this is too trivial to consider a real understanding of how to bring out the best of yourself. For instance, if you have nice boobs, you should not wear a low-cut clothes...too pretty, as you want attention to be drawn entirely on your...well cleavage.
5)Be natural in your second skin! Sometimes, we feel so frustrated when we cannot get the class looks of people on television or in magazine while some of us even have better looks. Later, I realise it is not about what we wear and when we wear it. It is all about how we carry ourselves in this piece of fabric. Therefore, chase your uneasiness and sulkiness away and do justice to your clothes by wear it confidently.

p/s I'm a learner and figure out about all these myself. I hope this journey of discovering the vision of art---dressing, can bring out a better me! Never afraid to make mistakes and take them as precious lessons.

Warning: it is normal for you to fall asleep upon reading this entry, so read this when you have insomnia.

My first ambition million years ago was to be a lawyer. This was probably because my grandfather was used to be a judge in the court of justice. I was really young then and was fascinated by the quality of the paper people use to write testimonials and verdicts. Besides, I have a great sense of justice and this is further support by my protruding and straight nose bridge.

My second ambition was to be a scientist/inventor. I was too young then to differentiate between the two. However, I know this noble job can save people and bring benefits to mankind. After all, the contribution of the scientists are always recorded in bibliographies and gloried by Nobel awards.

My third ambition was to be an engineer just like my father. It looks so cool to command the computer occupied by numerous incomprehensive and perplexing graphics. Furthermore, my math foundation used to be strong and I love to do challenging 3D sums.

My fourth ambition was to be a physics teacher. I used to be the physics representative in Nanyang Girls’ High and was taught by this comical yet passionate (in teaching la) teacher called Mr Chan. He made me realize that through hard work, everything is possible. Coincidentally, all physics teachers that I have met are entertaining yet witty.

My ambition today is to be a business woman. To many, the image of a business woman is a shrew, selfish and bossy one. But, one just needs to be pragmatic in this realistic world. Many dream about owning the golden apple but when we wake up, all we get is an apple seed!

A scientist may concoct the vaccine to tackle the H5N1 virus but it might not be provided to every person in need. Similarly, people in many places today cannot afford to receive basic education let alone employ a lawyer. In fact, many best things in life are not free of charge.

Money is involved in manufacturing, in marketing, in tourism, in education and even in doing charity! Without money, sadly, many things that we are able to accomplish are yet possible to be executed.

Therefore, only by doing business can one possess the absolute power to afford exorbitant services, to tap on human capital, to research for the advancement in technology and ultimately to change the world!

Again being bored now, I did the following test...

You Should Get a MBA (Masters of Business Administration)

You're a self starter with a drive for success.
You'd make a great entrepreneur.
What Advanced Degree Should You Get?

Well, does it mean I'm really a cut for doing business? You guys should try it too but do not take too long a time to think.

Some days ago I was watching a drama series called “ 美丽在望”. The female protagonist’s script has made me ponder, “I do not need a man to look after me when I am old, sick and poor. All I want is someone who can accept how I look like, just the way I truly am.”
No doubt, the girl’s look is mediocre. As a result, the male protagonist was hesitating in marrying her. His peer was however telling him that beauty is just skin deep or 红粉骷髅 (well-powdered skeleton).
On the surface, it might appear to be true. But when one thinks deeper, this sentence is a total fallacy. As human being, we naturally incline towards fanciful packaging, breath-taking scenery and gorgeous people. No matter how little degree it is, we are still attracted to better looking people and are conscious of our own appearance. Although there is no economic value, we admire them like a fine art piece or a seductive wine.
On the other hand, to be less attractive is a misfortune. In this society, we are compassionate towards people who are poor, handicapped, less intellectually inclined. We even take pity of ex-criminals. But, we might scorn people with a gross look unknowingly. They can be acquaintance, normal friends but not a further relationship.
However, I will not blame the heaven to be unfair. If you are not born with a silver spoon in your mouth, work extra hard to earn the money. If you are not intelligent, study hard to gain more knowledge. If you are handicapped, strive to accomplish the other 99% you are capable of doing. Similarly, if you are not good-looking, learn to put on make-up, cultivate a good dress sense, go for diet/treatment/courses and whatsoever to gain both your charm and confidence.
Life is fair and beautiful given the chance to be born in this world. But红粉骷髅? No, unless we turn into skeletons.

You can call me vain. But, I'm currently into hair colouring fantic!
So far, I've dyed twice in one week, amazing without spoiling my hair at all.
My first dyed color was a cheapo goldenish yellow which makes me look like a golden retriver. Then, I ventured into a tad reddish shade---medium mahogany brown.

1
Mahogany Brown

2
Reddish Brown

3
Red Copper

4
True Red

5
Purple

From this list, you can see how non-red this actually appears. Happy to say, it suits me really well!
For the tempted ones, get a nice color shade which suits you and worry no more. After all, we live only this once.
