This afternoon was registrating for my subj whch almost gave me a heart attack! Since I've passed all my subj, obviously I login in the timing for the passing cohort. However, the sys juz refused to let me enter. (Later I found out actually my timing is in the morning since I took MC for one paper which is kinda consider "failed")
Tell u, the feeling juz sux to the core! It is like you wana do something about it but you are so useless and helpless...to see all the available slots kana snapped up quickly. Luckily I recover my coolness just as quick, I immed came up w plan Bs to counterate the change. Although everything was non constant then due to "jumping" vacancies, it is always betta to add on plans to expand ya ready portfolio, like the concept of risk and insurance. (I notice some ppl apply this principle to dating game as well)
Anyway, I foresee next sem to be v hectic. 27 AU with breakdown: 6 cores, 1 lab, 1 proj, 1 pe, 1 ue due to retaking of the MC subj and completing my minor. (NTU now charges us for special sem and I cant make up time for it as well)
Some said I'm siao to overtax myself, but I take it as an opportunity as well. In life, I feel we should at least take some chances to challenge ourselves, to walk out of our comfort zone and do something extraordinary. Some participated in marathon, others engage in extreme sports, a few might take it in the wrong way, but it is still part and parcel of growing up - to live right sometimes is to do wrong things.
The ultimate goal is to offset the limit in order to see how far one can really go and to prove that what one believes one can achieve (it is all in one's mind)! On another note, I have never regretted about the things I did, I only reflect upon them. ^^

Yes, technically my holiday is over, which is the only week between my 5-week project and special sem module, and both are not that easy.
Recently having a sudden shopping craze, used to be dresses, then necklaces, then earrings and now lingerie. To think about it, it is like phases of growing up of a gal. Maybe later on I ll fall in love with bags and shoes (have a total of less than 5 now, I'm serious), for which I always wonder why women are crazy over them?
Anyway, bought a few bra from Triumph and lingerie sets from PC. Spent around $70 and bought these 3 sets online imported from USA.
2 pc Sheer babydoll with mesh roses, with G-string
Halter Mini Dress With Satin Ribbon Tie Front
Slinky halter mini dress with lace trim and dual lace up slits
I've received the items in good condition and all of them fit like a dream. =) Now they are having GSS with discount and free reg mail + free wrapping + further 10% over a >$60 receipt and 10% to be redemn upon next purchase. However, even if I'm crazy over something I wont go gaga over it, to shop is always to spend within budget and rationally.

Today had a satisfised meal with my eating khaki (that's the only thing we do together everytime) at Turf city aka ma cheng. Firstly, we went to Unique seafood market to choose the lovely creatures to be eaten (I eat all seafoods, meats, fruits and vegetables). There are more than 80 varieties of seafood available such as fish, shelled seafood, prawn, crab, lobster, snake and even shark.
The wonderful thing is now they hold a promotion of 50% discount and our chosen seafood can be served at Ah Yet or Owen restaurant next door FOC!!! =) Below are wad we had for dinner, I forgot to take pictures but managed to find similar ones.
Our first dish is mussles or da tou cooked in kampoon style. The thing about seafood is it is most delicious when served fresh! The sauce is v appetising to eat many bowls of rice which I normally dun eat.
This is followed by XL bamboo clams which has lots of fragrant garlic topping! The meat is so tender and juicy!!!
Then we had some oysters served in cheese. My khaki suggested it chilled but I prefer cooked since I dun hv a good tummy recently. It is pipping HOT!!! I love the way both cheese and oyster melt in my mouth.
I have a food fetish for snake...or rather eel, so I suggested this to my khaki as I dun wana appear to know nothing. I know it might not look appetizing and in fact hideous upon first sight (the brave salesgal took it in her hand k), but it is v v v tasty!
In case u wonder, we had it cooked in Gong Bao style which is sweet, spicy, crispy and tender! The good thing is they even removed bone for us. Tell you animal bones r totally useless if it is meant to be eaten. My khaki told me it tastes like unagi, but...unagi is eel too!
Laz is my favourite...CRAB!!! I can eat 20+ crabs in one go as my tummy ll nv resist crabs. We had one cooked in pumpkin cream and another black peppered, I din know there is egg yolk crab so we will leave it to next time.
Even though black peppered one is a tad salty, I'm fine with it coz it is still crab. Normally ppl dun eat crab coz it is mafan. However, I'm one smart and patient gal who ll take time to eat it clean.
Overall, the meal is v satisfying and service is not bad too. The total damage is 60+ only consider the quality and taste of food served.
Of coz this is not the end of everything, for part II at Ben & Jerry pls read the next post. ^^

DIP (design & innovative project) which lasted for the past 5 weeks 8am to 5pm had finally marked its end on this Thursday. Really learnt a lot: from academic to PR to way of handling things...
In this journey, I struggled and conquered my mental barrier of programming. It might not be my forte still, but through sheer determination, I'm sure I can handle it juz like computing. The most impt criterion which determines the outcome of our studies or anything else is often our attitude. I can choose to either face it or to escape from it. I can resist it in my best ability, but in turn I will become less receptive towards picking up things. "Nobody can teach you anything except yourself." The flow of information and ideas is best through an open mind. Thus, having a positive attitude towards learning, unlearning and relearning is essential.
Suddenly, all the stress and endless work has come to an end. Apart from a sense of relief and achievement, there is a tinge of emptiness as well. I guess I will miss the companionship of my teammates who had been there all these days, even if there are hiccups sometimes. It is also rather strange I had gastric, then rashes, then sore throat, then cough, then flu, then tummyache during DIP when I rest early but all recovered when I slp late now. Guess I'm born nocturnal. ^^
On a side note my mama's flying off too so I'm left in sg alone again (yea la yea la I dun hv any sibling may God bless you of ya annoying bro/sis =P ). They used to cook hao liao n prepare watermelon, cake, drinks etc n now dun even bother le. =(
P/S: Pls help me click the ads above, I'm gonna get my cheque soon!!! =)
